​Akai Hawaiian Taropatch Ukulele

This rare Hawaiian made Taropatch 8 string ukulele was made by Akai in the 1920's out of beautiful curly Hawaiian Koa wood. As can be seen in the photos this nearly 100 year old Taropatch is in great condition, some time in the past it was professionally converted to 4 string but it can easily be reconverted to 8 string and I planed to do that but it plays and sounds so good so I decided keep it the way it is knowing I can reconvert it at any time.
