This beautiful and rare Jesse Kalima Deluxe soprano ukulele was made in the early 1950's, Jesse was not an ukulele manufacture he was a ukulele virtuoso and legendary Hawaiian entertainer. This ukulele was most likely made by Sam Chang who supplied ukuleles for several of the music teachers and instructor's in Waikiki.  As can be seen in the photos this rare ukulele is in excellent condition and it plays even better than it looks and with the raised fret board and grover tuners this was made to be played, the body is solid and the neck is straight and it comes with its original vintage case.
