Kamaka Special Pineapple #1236 w/pineapple back AKA "Painted Pineapple" The 1920's Kamaka pineapple ukuleles with the full pineapple on the back is one of the rarest and most sought after of all the vintage Kamaka ukuleles. Urban legend has it that the first 100 pineapple ukuleles built by Sam Kamaka were all hand painted with either the pineapple on the front or back, this style 1 has the full pineapple on the back.
